anything weird happening to newsgroups?
 

for some reason, today i can't download anything from newsgroups. if i try the speed shoots up to ridiculous levels (300mbit speeds) and it finishes but only a fraction is downloaded and is corrupt.

anybody tried them today?

edit: actually, only happening on large files of about 50mb, everything else is downloading fine, odd.

edit again: i think something was dodgy with the headers i downloaded - using an nbz from a website works downloading the same files.
