ITV holds on to Rugby World Cup.

ITV has acquired the exclusive UK TV rights to the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand next year and the tournament in England in 2015.

Oh thank heavens for that. How could we cope without the experts at ITV sport covering a world sports event for us. Maybe we'll get to miss the first England try in their first game.

No chance of that, when do England score tries? ;)

Ahh, well yes then, they will cut an advert into it :)

Wonder if some games will be broadcast in HD?

You mean watching Wales not manage to get past the quarter finals again?

Come on, don't be bitter, remember you ought to be happy that another home nation is in the RWC etc etc ;)

Bitter? I'm from a country that has been in the final two years running, three times in total, i have no reason to be bitter ;)

Well if your national rugby team follows the performance of your football team, the rest of the home nations shall expect complete and total support from the English ;)

Any criticism simply won't be allowed, lest it be taken as 'jealousy', 'sour grapes' etc ;)

Nah, bitterness was the 6 nations 18 months after the RWC when England flopped and the fans got nasty on CF with the Welsh fans because we won...

great.... 6 weeks of Craig Doyle talking crap and thinking he knows what hes on about. Why couldnt the BBC get it, they do a pretty good job with the 6 nations every year (apart from that stupid spiderman camera they had) and their commentators are such much better than ITV's.At least Sky didnt get the rights
