Asus excellent customer services
Not very often I get to praise a company for their CS but this has surprised me
Yesterday I called Asus asking about purchasing an option componant for a motherboard I was using for my brothers new build. It did not have S/PDIF as part of the board and required and back plate to attach to a header to supply it. Anyway I was put through to this guy who said no one in the UK bothers to supply these as they need to be bought in lots of 100 and they are just not worth it. "oh" I said " so you can't help me" he then said "wait a mo" and off he went. About 2 minutes later he come back saying "ive found one you can have it give me your address and I will send it out to you free" So I gave him the details and expected it nest week sometime. Ok so that in itself is good support imo but I just had a deliver from UPS next day signed for and lo and behold it was the board and cable Excellent work Asus my faith in your boards has been rewarded :) |

If it doesn't arrive I think I might have a spare from an old ASUS
If not then it is just a RCA socket on a backplate |

I've always had good results with ASUS motherboards, it's good to know their customer service is just as good.

All of my PC's/servers have used ASUS boards for the last 10 year.

I now won't be using any mobo except Asus due to result's with overclocking and performance and feature's that are provided by them.
When I upgrade then it will probably be to the Asus Rampage III Extreme board, but depend's on what is out by then. |

There Mobo's while there high end boards may be abit pricey, but they are worth the money 9 out of 10 time's.
There sound card's are excellent for the money I am very impressed by the xonar dxII iirc which I have. There graphic's card's whilst again there high end cards are expensive and not 100% worth are generally extremely fast and, well worth more than the stock card's and perform very good. All in all I am very happy with Asus and even when asking a question to them, they seem to respond via email very quickly and with 90% of time's with just the answer you were looking for. I can't recommend Asus enough to family and friends and have never had anyone complain, and very rarely had to have something of there's exchanged due to being faulty very well made products and excellent customer service's, and not to mention very good looking board's black and red look great inside a case. The only thing they could do with doing is bringing back the hybrid northbridge and southbridge, cooler so that you can use either water or air cooling make's the board's so much better for overclocking thank's to better cooling and save's money for the person buying the product. |

I love Asus boards. Bought nothing but since about 2003. And my latest GFX card is Asus too :) Never had to speak to tech support though :)
