Windows Media Player Issue

Im having an issue with Windows Media Player on Windows 7.

When i try to open a music video, format is flv, i downloaded it from youtube using RealPlayer Downloader but it doesn't work.

The files open fine with Winamp and RealPlayer.

This is the error i get. Anyone know what is wrong?

Re: Windows Media Player Issue

flv is a flash player format and I have not used media player in a good number of years but they never supported flv format and whether they do or don't now I can't tell you.

I have K Lite Codec pack installed so it should be able to open it, right?

sorry about this everyone. i thought i had the latest version, there must have been a bug in v6.1.4, installed v6.2 and issue no longer there. Funny how the files were still playing fine in RealPlayer and Winamp.

thanks anyways
