Not *one* spare FM frequency?

I've got an FM transmitter so I can play my iPod in the car.
But on my journey from Forest Gate in East London, to St Pancras station, I went from 87.0 to 108.0 in 0.05 steps, and everything had a transmission of some sort and I couldn't find a single FM frequency that was empty.
Surely there must be *something* available?

Don't bet on it around London, we struggle going out and about. As soon as you are near a transmitter you find a lot of contention on the frequencies, in London this will be made worse due to all the unofficial stations.
