Packard Bell Easynote W3240 Drivers
 
Im looking for the drivers for the above laptop,cant find them on the PB site .When I do a search for them they are available on driverfiles sites but not to sure how good these are to use.Does anyone use any specific sites for drivers that I can try.

It might help if you specify which OS and exactly which drivers you want for the system ;)

Reloaded XP Home Edition need all of them if I can get them .
Mass Storage Controller
Network Controller
VGA Drivers
Modem Drivers
and couple that just show as unknown device .

Do you think some of the drivers are standard across the range of Laptops.

I think it uses an AMIT chipset, try the belkin f5d7000 drivers as that uses the same chipset

Wireless is part of Laptop ,but can get it open as I have before.
Just wondering if to use a screwdriver or a hammer.:bigcry:.

Good find :clap: I found the same on another site that wanted me to download a 3rd party driver install package :( Your link actually has the file though and it is a PB installer :)

Note for future either source your drivers prior to a reformat or use a program such as driver magician. As you will be sourcing the drivers now save them to disc and put them away safely so you wont have this trouble again

Least you have a spare with the net you would have been shafted otherwise

Normally do on my own but this is my daughters she had at uni ,she killed it before I got hold of it.When I get his working that will be the first thing I do.

Dloaded the file and ran it,no joy.
Just fitted a usb wireless dongle and now online.
Will now install devicedoctor.
