Windows Live question.

Evening all... hope everyone is enjoying the weather we have been having recently. :)

Just a quick Live question - I just signed into msn messenger and it said I had an invite of a mate. i wasnt quite sure what the invite was for as i havnt used it in a few yrs and out of curiosity (yes i know, i probably shouldnt of) decided to accept it. Now on my profile it says were friends? where the hell in the invite did it mention being a friend.

cut a long story short, can i edit this now. i tried deleting him, but it deleted him from my msn list as well which i dont want. i just want that link to me gone.

I remember going through this confusion years ago. So i just never use the LIVE PAGE anymore although i do remember when you add someone it asks you if you want them on the page or something.

If your on messenger sometimes if your profile is on public then you can get a random message from anyone as a request to be there friend even when you dont know them. You can delete and also block the person if you have accepted there request by accident

Just set your live profile privacy setting to 'no one'

Thanks Void as when I tried the private profile it gave a long page of having to click on about 20 things to change your private profile
