o2 wireless box III comes with no admin password by default

I know default passwords are a bit of a joke, with lists of default user/pass combinations being all over the net, but at least they stop casual 'war drivers'.

When we recently took out broadband with o2, the wireless box III came without any password for the routers admin, nor was there any recommendation that I could see telling users to set a password!

Would it be so hard to have a popup on the routers setup screen to warn about this?

Of course, it came with WPA2, which is pretty secure, but all the same, I feel the router setup should ask for, or recommend the setting up of, an admin password for the routers settings area!

Just my moan, sorry guys!

The new virgin router has a popup that reminds you to change it

That's exactly the kind of thing I think o2 should sort out!
