Two displays different resolutions

My graphics card has vga, dvi and hdmi. I have my monitor on the vga connection and my lcd tv is connected via dvi.

When I have both on at the same time the tv display is messed up as its duplicated from the monitor one.

Is there anyway to have the proper resolutions on both the screens or is this not possible?

Cheers

You can set the additional screen to be a different resolution. Just rgo into display properties.

If you want more flexibility UltraMon is good for configuring but its not free.

Don't you have to have extended desktop switched on to have different resolutions on both displays?
