VPS
Hi,
I have recently purchased a VPS and planned to use it as a seedbox. However i havent the slightest idea on how to get started. I am running fedora 12. Anyone know of a good guide on the internet on how to get started. Cheers |

Yeah i have a control pannel that i can log into, not sure what brand it is!

By the look of it it's a WHM/Virtuozzo clone... That enable you to control the virtual hardware side of the VPS but not the OS itself..
Do you have a choice on OS for the VPS (a lot of vps servers do give you a choice) if yes then the best "free" control software is Webmin and even better as it controls down to domain/email level is virtualmin and that has an install script for Centos5 and a couple of other OS. I've personally installed it after a recommendation off CF on Centos5 and it works great allowing full control of the domains/webistes and lots of others things like the industry standard of WHM/cPanel. but is free unlike WHM/cPanel. |

The server came with fedora 12 install

All fine and good but unless you are command level coversant it's absolutely useless to you
Question, who is your VPS supplier?? please provide a link to the website and we'll be able to tell which next step you need to follow :) |

However i get to step 5 and i get a command not found error when i type
