Wireless-N

Hi,

Newbie here.

I was wondering, is there really much benefit to connecting via Wireless-N as opposed to Wireless-G? Will I notice the difference? I'm on a 10mbit connection, with a Draft-N router, but my desktop isn't Draft N-compatible, but.. I'm not sure if I'd see much of a difference if it was.

I'm considering http://www.cisco-routers.co.uk/u/pd/...159001b/771397
.. any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

Unless you are sharing across a home network probably not, you will only move the data as quickly as it comes onto the router.

I do a reasonable amount of file sharing across the home network so I suppose it would be useful for that :)

I've since been told this - http://ramblax.co.uk/p~p-96172624~Li...039348245.aspx - would be more appropriate, since it's a) made for a desktop PC and b) Linksys-brand - agreed?
