Cable Forum - no email/webmail/pcguard

Please can anyone help me? This morning I was suddenly unable to get any email via windows mail or web mail. Also PC Guard was inactive so I am also reluctant to go online without the protection of this (I am using a borrowed pc with other anti virus siftware to write this). My tv/telephone and broadband connection are fine.
I called 151 and was told that my email account has been closed, no known reason but aparrently it seems to have been linked with someone we do not know. All bills etc have been fine so no payment problem.
I was promised a call back today, so far nothing heard, but is this something anyone has come across before or knows what might be the problem? (I tried registering on the Virgin help and support site but to use it I have to click on a link in the email they have sent me - so no chance!)
