Virgin Media Mail IP Address
 

Do we have a set of IP addresses for Virgin Media Mail that differ from the one that we normally have for our computer?

Reason for asking as when I log on to Virgin Media Mail I see a range of IP addresses for my account activity, and I wonder if these are associated with Virgin Media.

The VM Mail account activity says that my computer is using an IP address that I don't recognise.

It's the same for me. I just ignored it, does it start in 62.254.XX.XX?

If you click on this LINK and put the IP address in and choose Nslookup from the drop down and then click submit query you will get something similar to below as it is the Mail Gateway.

know-mailgateway-3.server.virginmedia.net

I just noticed so here it is again, and it is nothing whatsoever to worry about as it is the mail gateway IP.

No problem that is why I posted it as it can be quite useful and it will tell you what the IP is as with my own above.
