Since moving over to Google Mail my spam mail has increased massively. When it was on Virgins servers I may get 20-30 spam emails a week, since moving over, I now get 70-90 spam emails in 24hrs

Must be over 500 spam emails a week, something has to be done as it's bloody annoying.

I used to use POP via Thunderbird to get my mail but because I am getting so much junk email and Google tends to filter some emails wrongly I have now switched to IMAP and make Thunderbird move spam into the correct folder and this works great.

Seems Virgins spam filtering did a way better job than Googles because most of the known spam Virgin seemed delete without me seeing it and this seemed to work great.

Looking at my spam emails, they are coming it 1 by 1 almost every 20mins, this is happened immediately within 24hrs when the server change was done

Check the spam box on your webmail, it will be in there.
