Itchy Scalp.

For the past couple of week my scalp has been itching like crazy! at first i thought it was chicken pox because my little nephew was thought to have it but turned out to be nothing, its not nits because i checked lol.

It woke me up last night and i was there scratching for about 10 minutes, what could it be? stress?

Thanks!

Have you changed shampoo recently. If so try using an anti dandruff one for a couple of weeks. The standard anti dandruff are really good for itchy scalps as they seem to rinse out well. But not so good for genuine dandruff.

I've had something similar recently. Like yourself I couldn't pin it down to anything definite but it's just too annoying.
I changed the shampoo I was using - switched to a Head and Shoulders-type of medicated for a while and it seems to have got a lot better.

No, i've been using Head and Shoulders for quite some time and never had any problems with it, unless im using too much when washing my hair, i heard TGel is pretty good?

Just because you've used a product it doesn't mean that the product isn;t causing the issues.. Manufacturers are constantly changing not only thier recipes but also thier suppliers constantly change what goes into the ingrediants they supply to the manufacturers ;)

Try another shampoo (just avoid tgel if it is a sensitivity to shampoos as it's made from coal tar) I'd suggest a clarifying shampoo for a bit as it contains no added extras, it will though strip the grease from your hair but it will tell you if there's a problem with it being a shampoo

After a quick google you could have some fungus bacteria thing which can lead to baldness. Go to the docs.
