Paypal (Payment Reversal?)

Hi all

I just sold something on paypal and sent an invoice.

Got a response a day later saying funds had been sent but there was a foot note stating :

Reversals:
Please be aware that your payment can still be reversed, (e.g. if it is subject to a chargeback), even after you have posted the item to your buyer. Complying with PayPal's protection programs and following the trading guidelines, in our Safety Advice Centre helps to protect you from things like chargebacks.

Seller Protection - Eligible

Any ideas what this means??????

Regards

Mike

Re: Paypal (Payment Reversal?)

One reason can be that the buyer paid with a credit card and initiates a charge-back througgh his card company. It can happen if goods do not arrive or not as described.
