What on Earth Have Google Done?
 

Anybody spotted the changes to the appearance of the search results in Google?

I did a couple of searches this morning before my tired brain worked out that the reason the results didn't look right was that they've incorporated all sorts of crap down the left-hand side of the results page :erm:

What a bloody mess :(

Err I thought they had just shifted the crap from the right hand side to the left...:confused:

The right hand side was sponsored adverts and all manner of other crap, the new bar on the left is a myriad of options i'm not too sure i'm ever gonna need.

Edit: Also some of the links mirror those elsewhere on the results page.

What you used to get on the right was adverts, now we get useless options that we don't want/need on the left - it looks like we've swapped one load of crap for nothing.

Fair enough.I think I can ignore the new set of crap just as easily as I ignored the other lot of crap.;)

Mine seems to have changed back form the silly one yesterday to the normal one :confused:

Haven`t done a thing!

Reckon it`s a phase in trial sort of thing, me don`t like :(

For me its been randomly switching back and forth for the last two weeks or so but a couple days ago it changed permanently to the new look.
