Remote Issues
I have a really annoying issue were by I'm unable to change channels on my V+ box as my Remote light is fully lit for a few minutes or so...I've read about it here and I've proven that if I turn my TV off the Remote light goes out.
I phoned Virgin recently and they refused to do anything other than send out a new remote. I've tried the new remote and it hasn't fixed it. I phoned back today and they're sending an engineer around tomorrow. I'm really hoping that they fix the issue, also is there much chance of getting a Samsung box? If the price is right I'd probably pay for it as well. Anyway... |

You will just get whatever he has on the van and if your box is faulty the will not be a charge if it is replaced.

Ask the engineer if it is possile on the pre-call so if he has both he will bring you a Samsung. The amount of times folk ask you after you've lugged the SA up 3 flights of stairs, its easier to just lie and say I only have SA on the van.

Well he gave me a Samsung box - what an improvement.
