Re: Spotify - New Version

Get the new version over at downloads.cnet.com if you haven't received the auto update, since Spotify are experiencing a high demand for it and has (for the last few days) still had the old version on the main site

Just downloaded it from CNET as mine hasn't auto-updated.

Best new feature for me is the automatic syncing of local music to your mobile client if it's in a playlist and not on Spotify itself

Re: Spotify - New Version

I like being able to share my playlist on Twitter :)

I like it, i have the free account with adverts, is it worth 9.99 per month for it as i've been thinking of subscribing?

Probably depends on how much you use it. I started using it quite a lot and so I subscribed, the extra features are pretty good (like being able to make tracks available offline and higher bitrate tracks). And of course, no adverts :)

If you're an unscrupulous Mac user, you can get all the features of Spotify premium using a 'hacked' version of Despotify
...available at a little known private mac bittorrent site ;)

Yes, much in the same way the 'purchase tracks' feature works

I think Amy MacDonald is excellent. Some of the other bands might send you screaming lol.

You might like some of the Dare stuff, that's very nice and melodic. And the same for Sarah McLachlan, some beautiful songs that she's done.
