Hey all did anyone go last year?

We are going on saturday but dont know how long to allow for the exhibits as well as the live show?

I went last year. It was smaller than I expected and didn't take that long to get round maybe a couple of hours. But they say it is bigger this year. I think the live show was about an hour.

I'm still hopefull of getting there, I've got 3 tickets for Saturdays event.

Went to todays show have to say there were a number of vendors I would have expected to be there that wasn't - Apple especially, Microsoft?, etc. Still managed to park for free which made up for the excessively priced food. Jason was very visible whereas the other presenters were not so...

I went on Wednesday on the preview day, not too crowded at all, was able to try out all the new stuff like the 3D tellies from LG, Sony and Panasonic. Gaming certainly seems to benefit from it.

Like Tricky I think the show would have been better with the likes of Apple, MS there, on the whole it seemed like one of the old computer fairs I used to attend, just with some big name stands there.

Had a good few hours though and enjoyed it while I was there, also managed to get a few pics of the Gadget Show team (and Valentino Rossi's MotoGP bike on the Packard Bell stand.. they looked really pleased when i approached, only to be disappointed when I said I was only there for the bike!) :)

Now as a massive fan of the Gadget show i could understand Apple being there with the Ipointlessmassivesizediphone and maybe the Iphone HD but Microsoft? what business would they have there? as far as i know, they have no new gadgets coming out, except maybe that silly bar thing for the Xbox from which they've blatantly copied the idea from the Wii and made it more advanced so not really a new idea, maybe next year they will both have something worth showing
