Google Chrome Steals Your Privacy
Microsoft has hit out at Google's Chrome browser, claiming that it doesn't respect users' privacy.
Microsoft recently posted a video called "Google Chrome Steals Your Privacy" to its TechNet Website. The video explained why Microsoft didn't trust Chrome's privacy and used Internet Explorer 8 as a comparison. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/Google...ews-33112.html Here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRa0bkFgkKM |
Re: Google Chrome Steals Your Privacy
It's because of how the address bar is also the search bar, probably not just Chrome it happens in now either.. I think that MS pulled the video from their own site pretty quickly.

Re: Google Chrome Steals Your Privacy
Only thing is, half the time with IE8 when you hit enter noting still gets sent to the internet.
MS improving privacy, Was this posted April 1? |
Re: Google Chrome Steals Your Privacy
If Microsoft had any balls they would have compared Chrome to Firefox.

Re: Google Chrome Steals Your Privacy
Maybe I'm too cynical, but I take the view anything Google provides is done with the express intention of learning about me to flog adverts to me.
I'm toying with the idea of Chrome over Firefox but certainly won't be going anywhere near their DNS servers. |
How funny of M$ to say this about Chrome....
THEY STEAL (OR TRY TO STEAL) PEOPLES PRIVACY MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE! |
