Steam punk celebrates the fact that Victorians built for utility AND design and seemed to hate the idea of obsolescence.Very much in sharp contrast to the ethos of the moment...

We've got a Steampunk weekend here in Lincoln later this year to be based at the old Victorian asylum.

Some of the hand-crafted stuff is awesome.
