Quite bizarre really that many PAYG calls on this will be cheaper than on Virgin's landlines!

Still, it's an very good deal, surprised there haven't been more comments on this thread.

You should ask for a renaming to Press Release Bot :)

I can't say any of this overly excites me.

On the subject of networks that's obviously going to be about where in the country you are. In my part of London T-Mobile sucks and where I work it's not great either. I can't get a 3G signal in either location which isn't hugely impressive.

They are from a landline but not from a mobile.

Does anyone know when they are launching the Simply 8p tariff, there is no sign of it on the virginmedia/virginmobile site.

I am using it on my mobile now. Just call Virgin Media giving your account number and password. They will transfer you to Virgin Mobile who will set you up with the new tariff. Took about 5 minutes at 8.45 this morning.

Thanks for the advice, did just as you said but as I don't already have a sim card they have sent me one.
