VM Newsgroups closed?
 

this is the message on there...

The Virgin Media newsgroups have now closed and no further posts can be
made to them.

Any customers looking for assistance should post on the Help & Support
forums which can be found at http://community.virginmedia.com

In addition, the text.news server has been discontinued and customers
are advised to reconfigure their newsgroup software to use the server
news.virginmedia.com instead.
