V+ Box going off

Hi there everyone.

I have a problem with my V+ box switching itself off when your watching the tv and its been doing this now for a few days.

Any idea what i can try?

Its a samsung one.

If it's nothing obvious like it's getting hot (are the vents clear, fan working etc.) then I would give VM a call.

I agree with Buffalo Jeff, if its happening on a regular basis that can't be right. I had a similar problem a few months back with my V+, CS sent out an engineer who came to the conclusion that my box was "knackered":) he replaced it there and then.

If the box is losing the HDMI output intermittently this can often be cured by a hard reset i.e. power the box off completely for a couple of minutes. It's happened to me a couple of times.
