ntlworld outbound mail size limit
Is there a limit on the outbound size, and if so what?
If it was the person at the other end blocking it as oversize I'd get a cryptic undeliverable message. I'm not getting that far which suggests to me that Virgin Media is my problem. |
Re: ntlworld outbound mail size limit
10MB I think?

Re: ntlworld outbound mail size limit
So 17MB isn't going to work then :(

Re: ntlworld outbound mail size limit
If that size limit is correct, no, and also once files are encoded into the email they can be as much as 50% bigger

Re: ntlworld outbound mail size limit
FYI once the ntlworld addresses are migrated to Google the maximum message size will go up to 20Mb

Ive never been able to send anything over 5mb on Virgin without it freezing and dying a death. |
Re: ntlworld outbound mail size limit
Split the file into smaller chunks with something like WinRAR, I use 4Mb segments.

Re: ntlworld outbound mail size limit
Upload the file to mediafire.com and then make it private, then email the URL to your recipient.
