ntl:Telewest Business rebranded

The Mail on Sunday yesterday (Feb, 7th) run an three line story saying that ntl:Telewest Business will be rebranded under the Virgin Media brand later this week.

They've been labelling themselves as "part of the VM group" for a bit now.. So no suprise..

I wonder if that means a more closer link between residential packages and business packages as currently the business side only offers 4M/500K, 10M/700K and 20M/1M though they have dropped the 4Mb for thier new combined BBB/Bphone packages with free calls 24/7

Weird though how it's not on the mail website

I'd expect they will sort the packages out to be more competive in the business sector.

I wouldn't hold your breath. Business cable modems really aren't a major seller for that business unit just an addition to the core leased line / telco business.

Indeed, I will have to get used to answering the phone with Virginmedia Business instead of NTL:Telewest :)

Well thier login portal is useless, they have left the ntl business cable customers on
https://memberservices.ntlbusiness.com/ and not even linked to it from the logins page :(

Re: ntl:Telewest Business rebranded

Just got through the post a glossy cardboard GOODBYE from ntl/tw/bus which when opened up is a HELLO from vmb. Surely a much cheaper letter would have done exactly the same job...

Interesting though that it's signed by Mr RB (well a printed signature) himself

Interesting comment on one of the BB news sites

Announced this week, the rebranding of Virgin Media’s ntl: Telewest wing as Virgin Media Business has cleared the way for the high-end broadband service to go on sale to small to medium enterprises across the UK in the form of specially tailored business broadband offerings.
