do i have to change modem to get 20mb bb?
 

ive been told that i have to get a diffrent modem to get my 20mb, currently have the black motorola one?

Some Surfboards are not capable of 20mb so they will send you either an Ambit 256 or a Scientific Atlanta EPC2100 I think.

yea thanks because i have already received my router so i thought they would send
them together

I could be wrong but I think they only send them together if they're sending a Quickstart kit but since you already have a broadband connection then they don't need to. If it doesn't turn up by the end of the week, give them a ring :)

The black Motorola modem can and does give 20Mb.
