If we are getting picky, all new VM broadband customers from May last year were first ;)

Moldova, speak to your gaffer and ask them to code V-Stuff and everything else to work in Opera. It's not difficult, it's only one set of standards compliant code every one agrees on. Even I as a newbie at college can code in W3C compliance.

I am sick of having to use IE, the world's most dangerous browser just to use some of VM's features. VM as a responsible and thoughtful ISP (hah!) should be blocking IE and encouraging people to use something safer.

I cannot access VM's new Google Apps account via Opera (my own domain is hosted on google apps and works fine...go figure!). So as before, @blueyonder.co.uk will be forgotten. Alongside most of your other gimmicks and waffle.

Cater for all please, not just the idiots who prefer the big blue E. Ta.

Just don't use Opera if you are so bothered

Also works fine on Chrome and Firefox, not just IE so...

The bit at the end is really just cosmetic, where are said email addresses hosted? The existing platform or the Google one? :)

Half support this time BB, it may work on those other browsers, but it doesn't work on Opera, despite my own domain/apps working fine. God knows what NTL did to wreck it but using the canonical url apps uses, breaks it trying to get to blueyonder email, as the "referrer is wrong".

Yay!

OK. I will shut up. It does work now if I go through mail.blueyonder.co.uk (typed manually) . But most of V-Stuff still doesn't work on Opera.

All @virginmedia.com addresseses were hosted from day one on the Google platform, but any new customers that instead received @blueyonder.co.uk and @ntlworld.com addresses since last May, were hosted on our standard platform with the 30Mb inbox, and have had to wait for the migration to go through to go onto the Google platform.

As for Opera support for customers, you will find that even Firefox and Chrome are unsupported at present and everything does revolve around the Blue E.

Thanks for the info Moldova.

Could you tell me.... once the ntlworld addresses get transferred will we be given a warning in time so we can update addresses and accounts etc we use with our ntlworld address?

Also will it just be a direct transfer or a different name, eg. fred.bloggs@ntlword becomes fred.bloggs@gmail ?

Thankyou.

You will receive an email similar to this one in the first post HERE

After the migration you should receive another email telling you all your accounts have been moved and in most cases your email will just work and the only real difference you will notice is the change in the webmail screens and the size of your now 7Gb inbox.
