Windows 7 Homegroup ?

Hi all

I have a desk top PC and laptop.

My laptop has a wireless card

My desktop in conencted to a router. So Cable > router > PC.

Can I set up a homegroup with this set up or do I need a wireless card also for my PC. Ie is my desktop put of the network ?

Hope that makes sense and thanks for your time

Regards

Mike

Your network would be anything connecting to the router Wired or wireless makes no difference

Just tried and it only seems to work (ie pcs talking to each other) when I connect a wireless USB adapter to the desktop.

Any ideas why this is ?

Thanks

Mike
