virgin media and outlook 2002

Truly stuck here!

I have 3 virgin.net email addresses that I receive via Outlook 2002 and have just added a 4th but they would only give me a @virginmedia.com address.

The problem is that I cannot configure this with Outlook 2002. I have spoken with virgin media and they said that they couldn't help as outlook is a business program, checked ther website and gone through various forums but cannot get outlook to send and receive to or from this @virginmedia.com address.

I have looged into virgin web mail and can use the email address fine it just doesn't want to work with outlook.

Please can anyone help

Re: virgin media and outlook 2002

Hi - really stuck here, I had an NTL email address which I could access through Outlook even when Virgin took over. Then changed to Sky - fine. Just changed back to Virgin and have email ending virginmedia.com and cannot set it up in outlook. Have phoned the Tech people - who tell me they are not trained in this!!! Have read the reply from Moldova and followed instructions but it still wont work, I am using laptop with vista - could this be anything to do with the problem? Absolutely stumped now. Would appreciate any help please. Thanks
