Network+

I'm about to start this, I got the book, CD and reg key.

I've logged on and registered to start this course, apparently its done on-line and is tutor led (I've never done a course on-line before)

I was told I do it every Monday at 6:30pm from the 25th Jan, the paperwork supplied says 1st Feb, but thats not a problem.

The problem I have is the internet site implies I can do it any time.

has anybody done this?

ZING??

Re: Network+

I'd have advised attending a training/educational centre to do this. I'm doing my CCNA in a local college, and they also run ComTIA and Microsoft courses. I find I learn best with hands on practicals, rather than simply reading books or documents.

Back on topic.

If you're able to do it on the 25th of Jan, or the 1st of Feb, then do it. I'd advise 1st of Feb, because if they want to be fussy, you simply tell them to look at the paper work, and it's their problem, not yours. You simply did what they told you to do.

If worst comes to worst, you could always give them a ring.

Cheers.

The thing is that this is a £1,300 course and my ex employer has paid for it. :D

At least you've had someone to pay for it. My Cisco CCNA is around £1100, and I have to pay it off my own back. Couple that with unemployment, and it's starting to get nasty.
