Need Help With Lag!!!
 

Hi guys,
A few months ago i bought 50mb with my housemates at uni and i have been unable to play pc games since due to the lag i get. I cant personally feel the lag that much when in game but others complain about it saying im impossible to hit on cod4 and css. I am using the d-link DIR-615 d2 which from googling i understand isnt any good although i havent been able to find a problem with it. I am also on windows 7. If theres anything else u need to help just say and ill get it for you.

just got mate to make a video of me can see im warping when i run but from my point of view theres barely any lag :s

Have you tried directly connecting your PC to the modem to rule out the router?

ok just tried straight through modem and it hasnt helped which makes it whole a lot more annoyin =/

Funny enough i get better connection and stable latency while playing WOW with my IPhone as a modem.

Will see when my 50meg comes in about 2 weeks what nightmares gonna have again with VM
