With the V+ HD box can you record three programmes at the same time, and with the VIP package the second box is that HD or just SD and without recording functions

You can record 2 progs at a time. You can watch a third programme or a previously recorded program or on demand stuff.

Two recordings simultaneously, both could be in HD.

Third tuner can watch a current transmission (or playback) and you can timeslip.

Second STB is SD

thanks, so you can't record three programmes at the same time, say at midnight everyone is asleep but there are 3 programmes on at the same time

and about the additional STB from the VIP package could ask for a HD V box i heard there is one that does not have the recording functions but just HD:

No the new HD V Box isn't officially out yet so you wouldn't be able to ask for it. Well you would be able to ask for it but you wouldn't get it.

The trial has only just been mentioned and is starting in a few areas. It will be at least 3-4 months before its on general release if all goes to plan.
