intermittant flicker on screen when using freesat/dvd player/wii
 

I have a Evesham 32" V32EMRO-ZE3 LCD TV (V32EMRO-ZE3).

But when I plugged my old DVD player into it via the scart cable there was a internittant flicker of what looks like a grid onto the screen. It only appears for a split second so it is hard to see what it is.

I bought a new HD DVD recorder (samsung) and some new scart cables but I still got the same error.

and the same thing happens when I plug in my new nintendo wii

Does anyone know what it could be and how I can get rid of the flickering without having to buy a new TV?

I think I fixed it by messing around with the screen settings on the wii - made it widescreen and reset it to 60Hz - in case anyone else is having the same issues.
