I have forgotten my Parental Pincode for the Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4000dvb Telewest / Virgin cable box does anybody know how to rest it?

Moved to 'Virgin Media Cable TV Services'.

Have you asked your parents if they could just input the PIN for you? ;)

if you've forgotten it, then you'll (the account holder) need to call Faults on 151 and pass data protection/security... they will reset it for you. HTH
