Record Speeding Fine

Should this be the model for UK speeding fines, i.e. based on income & repeat offences?

In my opinion this might work for parking offences as well. Those well off consider a fixed penalty parking ticket just another way of paying for a parking space...

Depends how rich they are - that's about 2 weeks 'wages' for a decent Premiership footballer isn't it?..

Ah yes, but if it was based on income...

Might help bring down the budget deficit more quickly, even if only applied to speeding footballers :D

This is similar to the guy who got a ticket for doing 200mph+, he only got a $250 fine.

I'd agree with that. I don't think it's right others having to pay more though.
