Wireless card for Acer Aspire 5535
 
Hi, i have trawled the net all day, (probably looking in the wrong places), does anyone know where i can buy one of these as per title please?

is that a laptop or desktop?

PC world etc will sell a generic one

According to the Amazon spec it has a wireless card builtin.
If you want an n adapter, any USB N Adapter will be OK.

Yes it does have one built in, but for some reason it is 'seeing' the router but cannot access the net, so i'm assuming it requires a new card, i have updated all necessary drivers.

It says something like 'cannot connect to dns server'

It is proberly a router issue.

the router has proberly restriction.

What router do you have?

There's a good chance you don't need a new card.

I;m not sure of the router make/model. it's my mate's but will go round and check tomorrow, is it an easy job to unrestrict the router?
