Let us prey.
Prey that now God is in law too. he'll now stop turning his back on us and do something. |
Re: Time for a secular Ireland?
One can only hope that Ireland will move into the 21st century and consign laws against free speech and free thought to the dustbin of history....
Love from a proud Anti-Theist and Anti-Deist. ;) |

Re: Time for a secular Ireland?
From today, 1 January 2010, the new Irish blasphemy law becomes operational, and we begin our campaign to have it repealed. Blasphemy is now a crime punishable by a €25,000 fine. The new law defines blasphemy as publishing or uttering matter that is grossly abusive or insulting in relation to matters held sacred by any religion, thereby intentionally causing outrage among a substantial number of adherents of that religion, with some defences permitted.
nice step backwards - €25,000 fine. why not just let god strike down the blasphemers |
