VM Remotes?

Just installed my Virgin media today (TV>BB>Phone)
Overall very impressed especially the BB

My remote looks 2nd hand and also feels very cheap, (nasty plastic creaking sounds + buttons sticking etc)

Are they all like that?

god i hope not, blue is a horrid colour.
The ex telewest silver remotes of that design look far better, and the 'home' button seems a lot more prominent

Phone up and complain about it now, tell them that the remote is 2nd hand and not working properly with sticking buttons.

You need to call Tech Support which is open 24/7 on 151 from your Virgin Media Phone.

It's absolutely free.

Or call 0845 454 1111 from any other phone line.

Just rung up and there sending a new remote out, which should be with me in 7-10 days.
Does it really take that long?

Sometimes, not always, they just give a guide to cover their backs if it doesn't turn up in say 2

Well it will probably arrive next week with the New Year but usually around 3 days in normal, they quote 7 to 10 days to cover themselves.;)

Return the old one in the jiffy bag, with the prepaid label, otherwise they charge you for it

They haven't asked for the old ones back for years

They never said anything on the phone about returning the item.

The little sheet of paper just advises you to dispose of it responsibly.
