New Life For A Phone Box
A traditional red phone box has been recycled into one of the country's smallest lending libraries - stocking 100 books.
Villagers from Westbury-sub-Mendip in Somerset can use the library around the clock, selecting books, DVDs and CDs. Phone boxes have been turned into art installations, a shower and even a public toilet (well, no change there then). http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/somerset/8385313.stm Hurry up in there! I'm bursting!!!! |
Re: New Life For A Phone Box
I've seen one that was turned into a fish tank.

Re: New Life For A Phone Box
Nice idea but wouldn't survive anywhere but a nice, isolated country village that don't have the usual contingent of chav and **** that are everywhere else. They'd nick the books, **** on them or set fire to it.
