bnc cable connection problem

1 Attachment(s)
Hi

We have a Belling Lee like TV connector which doesn't fit the normal TV cable. Anyone knows how to get it connected to a common TV? what kind of cable should I use?

I attached a picture with measurements of this connector.

Thanks

April

That looks like a female Belling Lee connector. A male Belling Lee will fit it.

^ What he said, it does indeed look like a standard female Belling-Lee, your best bet, if you are able would be to take that plug off and replace it with a male one

Hi

Thanks for the prompt reply.

A few questions:
1. is Belling Lee the same as BNC?
2. What would a common TV 'female' connector called?

Thanks:)

1. No, a BNC is a completely different connector.

2. A female TV connector is a "female belling-lee"

If you don't want to change the connector on the cable, go out and get a back to back male adaptor.

Would like to connect this socket to a TV (see attached picture) with a cable. My question is what kind of cable (or plus connector) to use? where for shopping?

Actually guys the original picture is of a MALE connector and the latest picture of the wall socket is the female connector :)

[edit] woops, forget that had a closer look.. They're both Female (odd to see a female inline socket)
