FSA will be able to 'tear up' bankers contracts

Aside from the fact that there'd probably be protracted legal challenges to any such action and it'll probably never happen, I wonder if Brown and Darling would like to apply such common sense measures to the generous perks enjoyed by those in Westminster whose abject failures contributed so much to this crisis. Clearly such people shouldn't be rewarded with solid gold, diamond encrusted pensions or seats in that well known tax payer subsidised gentleman's club the House of Lords...

if one has failed and failed to the best of one's ability then one deserves to be rewarded doesn't one.

Oh look its a plan announced to the papers by Labour which has absolutely no chance of happening and is a shameless attempt to try and win some votes.

Yep, looks like a load of old tosh that is ment as an attention grabber, not as any meaningful policy....
