Stargate Atlantis: How Many Seasons?
 

Simple questions:

1. How many seasons were made?
2. Is that the end of it?

I think it was 5 seasons that they made, and that the show was cancelled after that - is that correct?

1) Five seasons.

2) Yes, unless the proposed TV/DVD movie ever finally gets made.

Stargate Extinction is the supposed Movie continuation of "Enemy at the Gate".

Bit of a bump I know but I only just got round to watching this (on Netflix) - I am just starting series 5 now.

It warmed up nicely, after a bit of a meehhhh first season-and-a-half. I was quite sad to see it end when it did ... But the finale is quite satisfying as a conclusion.

I really liked Atlantis, although I preferred SG-1.

It's a shame that MGM's past financial troubles stopped us from ever getting any more TV movies.

I have now finished it and am about to start the first book.

I did like it overall and indeed thought it picked up when Ronan Dex joined.

The last episode was ok I thought but not brilliant. I am looking forward to more.

I thought the last episode was rushed and ill thought out and looked as though a decision had been made to cancel the show as quickly as possible .I don't think there will be anymore ,the disastrous SG universe series made sure of that

Yeah, I remember thinking the finale was rushed. It would have been far better as a two-parter, I think. It also wasn't helped by the fact that at the time they thought they were going to be able to continue things with a TV movie to tie everything off and properly finish off the series.

Also, the was a huge deus ex machina.

I wish Atlantis had carried on, instead of them doing Universe.
