Setting up Outlook Mail

Hi I have been trying to setup Outlook email on my fathers PC he was NTL but now Virgin. At the password screen it keeps asking for username and password. This was all working but has stopped, (he has paid the bill). The helpdesk in India told my farther that only Express is supported and would not say any more about Outlook other than they have reset the password. This was entered but still the same result "error” is shown.
Any body got any ideas thanks.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Outlook works perfectly well and should just need the following details

Username, Password, POP server and SMTP server.. confirm that all of them are correct as different VM email addresses use different formats depending if it's ntlworld, blueyonder or virginmedia..
