Google Wave how do you find it?
Well I've studied the tutorial videos and I'm pondering just how I can use this..I can see it as being a rather intense messenger type application with the ability to add all sorts of new ideas..like maps.I can see it might be rather good for conferencing and for letting a group work out activities together.
However I cannot see much beyond this..and it's really irritating me that I cannot really use it with people that I could really share things like photos and such when I cannot invite them to join Wave. Not that I don't want to share with some of you..;) So has anyone else really got to grips with this app yet? |
Re: Google Wave how do you find it?
Once it's fully integrated into the google system you may well find you can do more with it, I host images on the picasa system so the ability to share them using wave would be interesting but at the moment it's still Beta, behaves like a beta now and then but overall has some interesting abilities.

Indeed I am waiting to be able to invite people.
I have used it a bit though, setting up meetings and things is good with the map thing and the ability to add pictures in etc. It definately has potential. |
Re: Google Wave how do you find it?
I've been wandering about on the public waves and found a couple that I shall keep an eye on. Other than that I haven't been overly inspired to spend much time on Google wave. Once I have a few more family and friends on there I will possibly use it more and look forward to having a family wave.
I originally opened my account? on 30/10 but still haven't had any invitations to dish out. :( |

I just hope it picks up quite soon. |

It doesn't work properly in version 10.10 of Opera. I don't know about the other versions though. Other than that I like the look of it and once it's out of beta it should be fine.
