Modem Disconnects
 

Hello all, I have VM 20mb broadband and I've had this problem for ages where my modem disconnects seemingly at random and I have to reset it in order to connect again.

I am ex-NTL and have the NTL(Ambit?) 250 modem connected to a Buffalo WHR-G125 router with Tomato firmware installed.

When I turn the modem on first time in the morning the ready light blinks slowly and I can't connect to the internet. This is usually fixed by resetting the modem.

It also disconnects randomly through out the day while I'm using it, were either the ready light blinks slowly, or both the sync and ready lights start flashing like crazy.

proberbly best to get Virgin to monitor the connection for a few days and see whats happening.

Ok, the modem ready light is flashing slowly yet I'm still able to connect to the internet.
