Whatever happened to the promised GMail based new email service that was supposed to be rolled out to existing users during the summer?

It has been rolled out to new customers and Virgin are in the process of getting the systems ready for everyone else, which include all @virgin.net. @blueyonder.co.uk and @ntlworld.com addresses.

When it was announced Virgin did say they were rolling it out over the next 12 months.

All @virgin.net customers have now been changed over

@blueyonder.co.uk address should be before the end of the year

Nothing has been said yet but I would expect it to be sooner rather that later 2010. Probably Feb
