thats just over a 48 hour turn around. Not bad, considering it's close to the weekend.

To be honest even BT probably wouldn't have fixed it any quicker under a residential contract. I worked within their Business ADSL repair department for a while and residential wait times for engineers could easily run into 2-3 days sometimes.

Frankly I'm very impressed at how efficient cable phonelines are...after 20 years with the service. :tu:

What I remember of BT was a phone service that was regularly down and sometimes for days and the merest storm could knock it out for days as well.:(

I agree but the wife claims that when with BT,our line never 'died'.

09:40 and line is back.
