Mobile broadband - 19.7MB phantom downloads

Starting last tues I noticed my mobile BB account was showing numerous 19.70MB downloads (Unknown and WAP Chat) which I had not done, and were not showing in either the VM Broadband home display or the network status bytes sent/received values. The downloads were shown as occurring while I was connected, but not using any serious amount of bandwidth. I've seen the same think on 3 differemt PCs and 2 locations.
The first I know was a text warning that the 1gb allocation was nearly used - logged on and saw that the whole month's allocation had vaninshed in about 4 hours of connect time

I called VM and they immediately acknowledged they knew of this issue - have subsequently emailed to check on progress but heard nothing back so far.
Has anyone else had contact with them about this?

Update - received a reply confirming they had issues, but claiming they were only from 12th October and 02.00am Wednesday 14th October, however I've still been seeing the issue up til 8PM on the 15th

Windows Update?

Re: Mobile broadband - 19.7MB phantom downloads

Things like updates would show up in the bytes sent/received count in connection status, and the Virgin 'broadband home' graph thing.

Thanks - there nothing there out the ordinary as far as I can tell to be fair. Is there anyother devices on the network? 360, laptop, phone & PDA etc?

Re: Mobile broadband - 19.7MB phantom downloads

No - seen the same thing on 3 different PCs - it's definitely either a problem at their end or something happening between the modem and their end.

They seem to know something is going wrong but are under the impression that it had been fixes - I've emailed them back to inform them it hasn't.
